Xioami Mi 6 more detailed leaked along with launch date expected to be 16th of April

Everyone knows that Xiaomi's latest upcoming flagship will be Mi 6 for sure this time and every-one surely excited about it as well. So now its expected that the Mi 6 is going to be launch on 16th of April with the latest flagship chip as well i.e. Snapdragon 835.

Earlier it was supposed to be IMX386 sensor being used, but looks like Xiaomi will be going ahead with IMX400 instead, which represents Sony’s top of the line camera sensor.

Another detail that has been revealed is that the Mi 6 will be coming in two display variants: the 5.15-inch display and one with a 5.7-inch display. Apart from the display size, the Xiaomi Mi 6 is also expected to come with a dual camera setup on the 5.7-inch variant – much like the Apple iPhone 7 Plus.
The other details that have been mentioned in the original leak on MyDrivers claim that the Mi 6 will have thickness of 8mm, it will come with a 4GB RAM + 32GB ROM on the 5.15-inch Mi 6 and will have a 4GB RAM + 64GB ROM on the 5.7-inch variant which is being called the Mi 6 Plus. The battery capacity is touted to be 3200mAh, but it isn’t known for what display size variant that is.
In terms of price, the Mi 6 is expected to start at CNY 1999 (approx Rs 20,000) and the Mi 6 Plus will start from CNY 2499 (approx Rs 25,000). The prices are pretty much in line with what we had seen with the Mi 5 last year, where you had a ceramic version instead of a large screen variant.

In another leak, three new sketches of the Xiaomi Mi 6 have also been leaked on Weibo. They hint at thick bezels on the top and bottom but thin ones on the sides. A home button which most likely houses the fingerprint scanner is seen below the display. It looks slightly larger than the one seen on the Mi 5. On the bottom edge, one can see the speaker grilles with the USB Type C slot in the centre. On the rear side, you have the antenna lines on the top and base with the Mi logo towards the bottom.

Rumours are also suggesting three variants of the Mi 6 are in the works. Apart from the two variants already discussed above, the third variant is expected to sport a QuadHD resolution on an OLED panel with 6GB RAM and 256GB storage. This variant is also expected to come with dual curved display as well.

One of the variants is also expected to sport MediaTek Helio X30 chipset with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage.

These are all rumours for now, and Xiaomi hasn’t put anything out officially. So we shall find out for sure on 16 April, when the Xiaomi Mi 6 is expected to launch in China.
