How to install Google Assistant on any Android Device?

The Google Assistant is finally rolling out to all android nougat 7.0 and android marshmallow devices. Users can get this feature simply by updating their Google App & Google Play Services from google play store. Most of the users will get this update done without doing it manually from Google play store if they have auto-update enabled.

But in case you haven’t received the update on your device, or for some reason, can’t seem to get the feature on your device, or the update is unavailable in you can follow this Guide and get your Google Assistant working right now.

Before Proceeding Make Sure You Have Android Marshmallow Or Above You Can Check This By Going To Settings> About Phone

Steps to Install Google Assistant on Android Marshmallow & Above Devices-
Make sure your Google App is up to date (Version or higher), If not update it from Google Play Store. And see if the Google Assistant is working or not. If not follow the steps below.

  • Go to settings> installed apps> Google App, and clear the data & Cache.
  • Go to settings> installed apps> Google Play Services, and clear the data and Cache.
  • After that, You will need Apk of latest google play services, Go To APK Mirror & Download the APK of Google Play Services.
  • Please Note: you will need to find the right version of APK for your device. To do that you can simply follow the guide available on APK Mirror’s download page or download the third-party app called Play Services Info, The App will show you the currently installed version of Google Play Services and whether there is an update available.
  • After downloading the right version install the Google play services.
  • Enjoy!. It should be working now if not just reboot your device.
