Google Now Launcher is getting Killed from PlayStore

Google launched its own Google Now Launcher back in 2014 to give a taste of pure launcher to everyone out there with customized skins. But it seems that google is now removing their Google Now Launcher App from PlayStore but those who have already downloaded will get updates as well. But pixel launcher will still be available for Pixel Devices.
A mail sent to GMS partners, Google explains that Google Now Launcher will be discontinued over the timeline starting Q1 2017 wherein it will be unpublished from the Google PlayStore - however it will continue receiving updates via the Google App for Android. This could be indication that there will be no major updates coming to the Google Now Launcher, but just few tweaks here and there inside it.

In addition to that, according to the email, starting 1 March 2017, the Google Now Launcher will also be removed from Google Mobile Services (GMS), which are used by OEMs to build their own Android device. New devices with Google Now Launcher will not be approved by Google but there's a way out for OEM partners who would have to use Google's Search Launcher Services library for their own stock launchers.

Not to worry friends you can also use third party launchers as well like Nova Launcher, Go Launcher, etc.
