300GB Data just for Rs 249, BSNL is really gonna connect India

BSNL known as Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited has introduced a new, promotional broadband internet plan that brings data rates drastically down below Reliance Jio. The wireline broadband plan is officially called ‘Experience Unlimited BB 249’, and will be available for users to choose from September 9. This plan also comes with a reasonably vast Fair Usage cap of 300GB, and offers connectivity speeds of 2Mbps.

With this plan BSNL surely gonna change the way we ever paid for high-speed internet, also it outbreaks Reliance Jio plans. Jio was launched at Rs 50/GB of data which was supposed to be the cheapest in the world. But now BSNL set a new trend of bringing that rate a lot much down that is for less than Rs 1/GB of data. The plan will be for 6 months after which users will be migrated to standard plans that BSNL has on offer.

While speeds of 2Mbps seem measly in comparison with private telecom operators, BSNL will hope that this plan will attract new users to its service. BSNL has traditionally offered affordable Internet plans priced lesser than competitors, but has seen lesser user retention because of limited connection speeds.

As entire nation focus is on Jio Offer so will this kind of offer from BSNL gonna attract a lot of consumers or not?
